The build that everyone has played is the 18th, by the time the Game ships it will about the 20th that the Game has went through, meaning we should see further improvements.
Also, it is true that there is fog and mist during night time scenes but what about the daytime ones? They look pretty f*cking outstanding to me.
Cant 'Gamers' just give the developers props for producing a Game like this rather than taking cheap shots and basically making things up.
...
Im afraid there wont be a demo of Alan Wake prior to release :(.
Remember, Remedy are only 45 strong and the time it would take them to produce a demo before release just isnt worth it when there are better thing to do (polish, polish, polish!!).
I also know this is going to be a great Game (ive been following it long enough) and I dont need a demo to convince me to part with my cash, the pre order is already in for the Limited Edition :).
Welcome ...
The people I worry for are the ones that think paedophile when something like Milo is mentioned.
And I need to wait until Friday to experience it :(
Also, this is the last article im going to read about Heavy Rain until ive completed the Game, there are too many Losers out there trying to ruin this Game which is just sad, sad, sad.
I worry for 'Gamers' who make comments like this.
*sighs*
But it wouldnt be a 'pyschological action thriller' if they did.
Some Gamers want the Moon on a stick!
True, but i wouldnt be suprised if this was the last Bungie Game on the 360, leaving Halo 4 for the next console.
I just want to see what 343 have been up to, they picked up a lot of talent when opening that studio and I am sure its not just Waypoint and Legends that they've been working on.
Im thinking Mass Effect, The Last Guardian, Alan Wake, Red Dead Redemption and perhaps I Am alive at the end of the year. Now im not classing all these Games as similiar or that one is better than the other but they seem to be wanting to tell a story and actually tell that story in a mature way.
PC Gamers may have had these kind of Games for years but ive always been a console Gamer and to see the titles I mentioned, it makes me look forward to the way the industry is going :)...
Its about time that Developers started catering to an older audience, I grew up on Games in the late 80's early 90's and dont get me wrong Mario will always have a soft spot in my heart but Im looking for something more from my Games these days.
Heavy Rain and a few other titles (that are on the market or are coming to market) are looking at bringing in a new type of Game for the consoles and that makes me one happy Gamer :) !!
No. Just no.
Remedy have stated there is no Natal support for Alan Wake.
Sorry HHG, you have this one wrong.
Both come from great developers and Both are stand out titles of this generation!!
I just cant wait to see what they Both do next (I know, im greedy ;)).
EDIT: Sorry, you are right, Bioware and Quantic Dreams are not great Devs, ME2 and HR are both not stand out titles this gen and I dont want to know what there both going to do next.
Thats better.
Thats a little extreme wouldnt you say morganfell?
Its just an opinion, no need to go burning down any buildings or anything like that, they praise Sony in the article but raise genuine concerns about the Wands impact.
Whats your problem?
Thats true dirthurts, but there have been many Games that I have eagerly anticipated in all my years of Gaming only for them to be shelved or scrapped (hello Vapourware).
About a year or 2 ago, there was talk that Alan Wake might be like one of those titles and turn ino vapourware, again its a pity the Game is no longer PC but at least it will be released.
Ive got a PS3 and 360, my PC is for online and poker only, so at least ill get to play it ;)
It sucks for PC Gamers that there version has been canned, however, the most important thing is that the Game gets released! Remedy are a small studio (theres only 50 of them!!) and because of this you cant take forever to make a Game without costs escalating out of control.
Sucks for PC Gamers, but at least Remedy get to make their Game an we get to play it. THAT is the most important aspect in all of this.
Well, im going for the Limited Edition, so there getting £49.99 from me ;)
Let me understand; Gamers dont think were in for some amazing experiences this year?
Bunch of pessimists the lot of you ;)
This is my most wanted PS3 title by some way!!
There are so many Great looking Games coming out this year that the fight for GOTY is going to contested by more Games than I can remember for some time.
What does this mean? We Gamers are in for some amazing experiences this year!!
Remedy have already stated that there will be no screen tearing in the retail version, any screen tearing that you see is down to the feed of the video not the Game itself.
I think a lot of people are going to be suprised when the reatil version hits (and a lot of people wont be ;)).
With great great difficuly ;)
This is a day one buy for me!
Cant wait to play the Game and then watch the 'making of' extras.
